In 2013, the Clean-up Fund committee approved restitution dollars to be spent on cleaning up a total of sixteen (16) different sites within Franklin County that were littered with solid waste. Some of these sites had been illegally dumped on with construction and demolition debris, tires, appliances, and household furniture. The other remaining sites were cleared of litter resulting from automobiles and pedestrians. Sixty nine (69) community service workers removed 625 bags of solid waste and 119 tires!
